A little about me…

Starving Artist Studio was a dream for many, many years. It wasn’t till the recent COVID crisis, business closures and stay home orders that it finally took flight. My bricks and mortar studio, Picasso & Wine, was forced to close, sending me into a panic of how it would continue to survive. I knew there were a lot of people out there that were experiencing the same fears and needed something to help them through the tough times.

I quickly changed my way of thinking, set up a video studio and started filming classes. It was my mission to offer art to everyone…and I did just that. I began offering free adult and kids classes online weekly, and it became apparent very quickly that this was helping the community. They needed an outlet to help quite their fears and anxiety. It was helping me as well!

Through this short journey I have realized the healing benefits of creativity. Art is therapy… it heals, soothes, relaxes and engages our minds. I will continue on this journey, and hope you will hop onboard and travel with me.
